  • Patients with no remaining natural teeth in one or both arches.

  • Restoring function (chewing, speech) and aesthetics (facial support) is needed.

  • Patients who are not candidates for fixed prostheses due to insufficient bone or medical contraindications.

2. Partial Edentulism (Partial Dentures):

  • Patients with several missing teeth in a single arch where the remaining teeth can support the prosthetic.

  • As a cost-effective solution compared to implant or fixed options.

  • Cases requiring preservation of the remaining natural teeth and their alignment.

3. Transitional or Interim Dentures:

  • Temporary solution during healing phases after extractions or implant placement.

  • For patients undergoing phased restorative treatment plans.

4. Implant-Supported Removable Dentures:

  • Patients seeking enhanced stability for their dentures, particularly mandibular prosthetics.

  • Suitable for patients with limited bone but enough for strategic implant placement.

5. Economical or Medical Limitations:

  • Patients are unable to afford or undergo fixed prosthetic treatments.

  • Individuals with health conditions that preclude invasive procedures such as implant placement.

6. Anatomical and Functional Concerns:

  • Restoration of occlusal balance and prevention of further bone resorption.

  • Improvement of facial aesthetics by supporting soft tissue and reducing sunken appearance.

They are securely anchored to implants for enhanced stability and comfort. They are often used for edentulous patients seeking a fixed solution with removable functionality.

  • Provisional or Immediate Dentures:
Temporary solutions are provided post-extraction to assist with healing and transition to a permanent prosthetic.

  • Acrylic Resin:
Durable, lightweight, and widely used for denture bases, offering flexibility in design and repair.
